Guns of boomershoot
Holder’s assistant AG authorized wiretaps in ATF’s gunrunning scandal. I’m getting a little nervous. Last time I remember congress investigating malfeasance at ATF, some idiot blew up a Ryder truck in front of a federal building, drawing attention from the investigation.
TN scored 8/100 on the Brady Campaign’s state rankings, which are generally an inverse measure of freedom. Arizona got a 0. Damn, Tennessee, we have a goal.
An off-duty cop waves his gun around in a bar, pointing it at a worker. He got suspended. Anyone else would be in jail. The also don’t release his name and not that it’s misconduct. I’d call it aggravated assault.
There is a reason I call them the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Ownership.
Meanwhile, Denny Henny parrots the declining gun ownership lie.
Three Project Gunrunner documents Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican and House Oversight Committee chairman, released on Wednesday show high-ranking Justice Department officials were aware of Operation Fast and Furious and that there was a consistent administration policy that allowed American guns to be “walked” into Mexican drug cartels’ possession.
My understanding is that AG Holder claims that he only heard of the gun running operation in the last couple of weeks. You really don’t peruse the news or have someone peruse the news looking for blips about agencies for which you are responsible? You either lie or are a shitty manager.
And Grassley sends him a nasty note.

A holster that attaches to a woman’s bra and has the best name for a holster ever, since they have to remove their shirt to draw. Clips to the underside and looked highly concealable. The pregnant lady at the booth had plenty of pics and I should have asked for some. You can buy them here.
May the fourth be with you.
Let’s try this one again, now that I have slept
ATF comment period of multiple sales is open. You can go here and learn what you can do, such as commenting.
An interesting story from the NRA annual meeting. For the record, I did notice the guy but I did not notice him staring at my gun since I was looking at the DroidX to find directions to our next location.
I think just about every blogger there purchased ceramic kitchen knives from Stone River. I’ve used mine exactly once on some salmon fillets and, man, that knife is sharp. Others report similar results. It will keep an edge forever, in theory. We’ll see.
They also have a line of folding knives but I don’t know that anyone bought one.
Killed in committee. Seems the sponsor, Andy Holt (UT alumni like that name) stepped out to take a leak and his own party killed the bill:
Rep. Jim Coley, R-Bartlett, made a motion to put off any consideration of the bill until next year pending “summer study” in the House Judiciary Committee while the sponsor, Republican Rep. Andy Holt of Dresden, was out of the room.
Weak.
Interesting use for a vibrator. Pro tip: they’re good for cleaning suppressors too. Spray suppressor innards with appropriate cleaner then rubber-band your Doc Johnson Little Pearl to the suppressor and hit the love button. Let dry and blow* out with compressed air.
* no pun intended.
I mentioned the photo from Alabama found in East Tennessee after the tornado. There’s a whole facebook page devoted to that.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
