Campus Carry In Tennessee

Killed in committee. Seems the sponsor, Andy Holt (UT alumni like that name) stepped out to take a leak and his own party killed the bill:

Rep. Jim Coley, R-Bartlett, made a motion to put off any consideration of the bill until next year pending “summer study” in the House Judiciary Committee while the sponsor, Republican Rep. Andy Holt of Dresden, was out of the room.

Weak.

    and unprofessional.

    I will add –

Every Judiciary Sub-Comittee Member that participated in this (by yes or present vote) *should be replaced* at election time.

  3. Stretch Says:

The Stupid Party specializes in backstabbing and “accommodation.” I foresee (T. Tenn.) outnumbering (R. or D. Tenn.) very soon.

  4. Robert Says:

    That’s just smarmy.

  5. The Freeholder Says:

At least the voters have a list of who needs replacing.

  6. JJR Says:

I don’t have high hopes for campus carry in Texas this session either. I’m thankful for my issues of TSRA Sportsman that I get for periodic updates on these legislative items.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
