ATF regulating airsoft guns, which aren’t guns.
Bob Owens looks at ATF classifying airsoft guns as machine guns, such classification is both stupid and wrong. Past coverage here.
So, ATF is sticking to its story that an airsoft toy can be converted into a machine gun. I’d like to see someone produce one because, so far, I don’t see how it is possible. One, the pins don’t quite line up. Two, the fire control group won’t fit in the receiver. And the things […]
Gunsmiths try to make them work but they don’t: we’ve had gunsmiths try to make a WE TTI lower work with a real steel upper, and it is true that a AR trigger pack will sit in a WE lower, but the trigger mechanism is inoperable with the WE lower unless you heavily modify the […]
Some more discussion on the issue of airsoft guns that can be converted to machine guns. Seems to me that you cannot possibly get a fire control group into that lower receiver. And, according to my sooper seekrit sources, a standard AR-15 magazine will not fit into the air soft receiver.

Seems someone in China is making Glock conversion . Do the units for Airsoft guns work on the real deal?
King5 discovers the over a year old story of the ATF classifying an airsoft gun as a firearm. As I’ve said all along, if it can be done, let’s see it done.
Remember how ATF and customs said you could convert Airsoft toys to machine guns? And how they were full of it? Well, FoxNews is buying it now: All you have to do is drill one hole. Then somebody make one. And go fire it.
Bob Owens has more on the issue. Seems ATF can’t comply with a simple FOIA request. And, like I said, you cannot convert them to machine guns: An Airsoft expert from England dismissed the claim as absurd. In the U.S., AirSplat expert Jon Dibblee — who was once Sgt. Jon Dibblee, a U.S. Army infantryman […]
More on ATF’s stupid airsoft are machine guns ruling.
I’m guessing they got that airsoft gun at a gun show? And ATF probably can’t trace it.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
