This is actually normal.
When Heinlein wrote “Solution Unsatisfactory”, a whole bunch of federal agents got on his case.
Apparently writing and publishing during WWII an SF story about the notion of using U235 and Plutonium as a weapon got some folks’ panties in a wad.
Remember, only the WHITE HOUSE is allowed to Leak Classified Info.
