Government Funded Peepshow

Women say the TSA targets them for body scanners.

Be sure of your target

And what’s behind it:

Witnesses told police that one of those people asked that the gun not be handled by people who had been drinking, at which point De Jong removed the magazine, and, to show others the gun was empty, pointed it at a wall and pulled the trigger, not realizing a live round was in the chamber. The bullet went through the wall and hit Thompson in the neck, charging documents state.

Unpossible

A shooting at a Denny’s in Japan. Guns are banned there. And I would not have thought they’d have Denny’s.

And for his last show

Andrew Napolitano brings the truth:

Why are anti-gun activists so violent?*

Vandalism, law-breaking, and dick jokes. Pretty much what we expect from our opponents.

* sure, it’s a property crime but that’s the title I use to denote anti-gunners disregard for the law and propensity for violence.

Iron Sky trailer. Interesting to me is that this film was also crowdsourced in an online community. That’s pretty cool. If Hollywood keeps making crap, people will make their own movies.

PA town overrun with crows. And they want them gone. Well, gosh, how could you get rid of birds? I mean, that’d take like some magic or something.

Senate voting today on parking lot bill

Here’s the scoop and contact info for you Tennesseans.

Fun and educational

A fun way to teach the kids the alphabet:

easy as 1 2 3

The FBI thinks you’re a terrorist

Just in time for Starbuck’s appreciation day, comes this: FBI says paying cash for coffee is a sign of terrorist intent

Seems by paying cash for small purchases, you’re trying not to leave a trail. Can we put the grownups in charge?

Server issues

Seems the server I’m on is getting hammered. So, it’s in and out today.

Starbucks Appreciation Day

It’s today. I did not stop this morning at our local Starbucks because the drive through line was backed up to the street. Not sure if that’s the usual or not. But I took it to be a good sign. Will swing in later.

Very Cool

A bit back, Sarah McKinley, who had just recently lost her husband, used a shotgun on one of two intruders to protect her and her newborn. The weapon was taken by police as part of the investigation, leaving he without a shotgun. Well, the folks at the Illinois/Indiana Gun Club raised some funds and bought her a new shotgun.

Update: It is the Champaign County Rifle Association. Sorry about that.

He was just furthering economic development

I’m sure that Suzette Kelo is saddened that someone took Stephen Breyer’s property.

Update: And his support for self-defense?

The Doc has a review of Worthless: The Indispensable Guide to Choosing the Right Major. Are liberal arts degrees finishing schools for women?

I have one of those worthless masters degrees!

And you should check out his book. He’s using the funds to buy a new AR.

GunVault SpeedVault

Looks pretty innovative.

Tennessee Parking Lot Bill

The Tennessee Firearms Association doesn’t seem too happy because the bill is getting stalled in the House, by Republicans.

TSA stuff

The TSA doesn’t have enough sense to realize that roughly half of travelers may be women. And since their policy dictates that only women can search women*, a traveling woman was told she could not fly.

* Do they make sure their employees are not gay? If not, I’m guessing that’s not 100% effective.
