But doesn’t say much:
“My attorney general has made clear that he certainly would not have ordered gun running to be able to pass through into Mexico. … I’m not going to comment on — a on a current investigation. I’ve made very clear my views that that would not be an appropriate step by the ATF, and we’ve got to find out how that happened.”
“As soon as the investigation is completed, I think appropriate actions will be taken.”
I’ve always hated To Catch A Predator, for many reasons. One is their unethical standards for getting a story. After all, once the press goes from covering the story to being the story, it’s all down hill from there. The other, and more important reason, is because those kinds of shows remind me we’re in the decline of western civilization. When you reach that point, how far are we from tossing some Christians in a pit of lions? Really.
So, I’m sort of amused that the host of that horrid show was caught on camera cheating on his wife. I wonder if he had a seat over there?
In Garner, NC, someone was attempting to break in and actually fired shots at the homeowner. The police show up and ticket the homeowner for unlawfully discharging a firearm. Seems there is no self-defense exception to that law.
Not pointing guns at your head:
Lee County sheriff’s deputies say a Sanford man shot and killed himself while showing friends the safety of his new gun.
…
The captain says Butler showed them the safety and how the gun would not fire. Johnson says after Butler pulled the trigger and it didn’t fire, he showed them the slide action, put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger again.
Police stop for Open Carry in Oceanside, CA done right. Hats off to officer Lions for being courteous, correct and lawful.
Careful if you’re asked to fill one out. Anti-gun hack Wintemute at it again.
Thanks to Cali’s new tax measures, Amazon pulls its affiliate program there.
Because ATF allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico and those guns were later used in murders and showed up at crime scenes in US neighborhoods, we clearly need to pass more gun laws. You know, to better equip law enforcement to combat this sort of thing. Why, it’s almost like it went exactly according to ATF’s plan.
Michael Bane: The ONLY way Fast & Furious makes sense is as a direct attack on the Second Amendment. Otherwise, it makes no sense at all.
Conspiracy timeline. More likely incompetence.
Media in the tank for ATF and the administration: you’d think their mainstream media mouthpieces might wait until the actual forum had been held.
Nope. Doesn’t fit the narrative. And they’ve been working on this narrative since 2007.
How smart are Americans? Granted, I could walk through any country and get the same footage.
With the retirement age set shortly after college and free healthcare, the little utopia was chugging along nicely. Then, the bill came due. And instead of paying and budgeting better, they borrowed more money to pay the bills and kept chugging along, unaware that the bill would come due again and, apparently, of the realities of basic economic principles.
And a funny thing happened. The exact same thing. Now, we enter round 2 as, on the news this morning, I hear there’s another series of loans and bailouts scheduled pending austerity measures. If the powers-that-be keep tossing around money like it’s nothing to bail out people who make bad decisions, eventually people are going to realize that the money actually is, you know, nothing.
Meanwhile, the Greek citizens are gathering their xiphos and taking to the street. Ok, really, they’re gathering yogurt and firebombs. Because that will help them keep their benefits.
Funny things happen when folks realize it’s not free.
Alan:
You know what they call a country where the cop’s jobs are easy?
A police state.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
