My son made some comment about AKs being illegal – based on what some idiot teacher in his school had said.
So, the other day, I was forced to pull out my once upon a time “famous on the internet” WASR to go over all the basics with him.
He was a little concerned I was a closet communist (he already harbors suspicions, based on my love of the Grateful Dead, that I’m a closet hippy – and there’s nothing worse in his mind than being a hippy) but then I explained that no – I purchased and treasured it simply to piss off our neighbors the gun banning bigots , and all returned to normal

An AK helps to make the RIGHT of armed self defense more AFFIRDABLE fir the common people. That’s something that all the old classical liberal hippies should support–even if they CHOOSE not to have one themselves. The only ones it bothers are the reactionary authoritarians and their “useful idiots”, as Communist dictator, Lenin, referred to his followers.
