He says he’s not going to take your guns away. Just ban you being able to obtain anymore that he thinks aren’t appropriate. Meanwhile, there are fewer gun crimes prosecuted under Obama than Bush. Well, that could make some sort of sense, after all. We have had some court cases striking down certain gun laws.

Obama’s policy on guns

Friday, August 6th, 2010

Dennis Henigan is a sad clown: It is now beyond doubt that the Administration is determined to say as little as possible about the plague of gun violence that inflicts death and injury on 300 Americans every day. When forced to comment on proposals to strengthen our anemic federal gun laws, the President and his […]

A look: Among the many groups that opposed Barack Obama’s presidential race, few were more certain or vehement than gun-rights organizations. “Barack Obama would be the most anti-gun president in American history,” the National Rifle Association announced. “Obama is a committed anti-gunner,” warned Gun Owners of America. So it’s no stunner that after a year […]

You remember all that time before the election when the press was trying to convince us bitter clingers that Obama didn’t want to take our guns? John Sigler looks at gun rights under Obama: The bait-and-switch gimmick of employing rhetorical tricks to hide very real gun control agendas, and to create a fraudulent history to assure that “your gun record does not define your candidacy” are the central lessons offered in a political/propaganda playbook or script proffered by something called the […]

From someone who has gone toe-to-toe with him in Illinois: I lobbied Barack Obama extensively while he was an Illinois State Senator. David Hardy on Obama and the Attempt to Destroy the Second Amendment: As a presidential candidate, Barack Obama must demonstrate executive experience, but he remains strangely silent about his eight years (1994-2002) as a director of the Joyce Foundation, a billion dollar tax-exempt organization.
