Poll

Harris Interactive:

In anticipation of the U.S. Supreme Court decision concerning the Second Amendment expected at some point this month, The Harris Poll® finds that by a margin of over two to one, more U.S. adults believe that the Second Amendment supports an individual’s right to bear arms. Furthermore, the survey also finds that more of the U.S. public continues to favor stricter gun control. However, concerning the impact on the election, the public seems to be split on which presidential candidate would do a better job handling gun control.

Actually, reading the poll, it’s more than 2:1. It’s more like 3.5:1 due to those who say both. Poll seems a bit misleading, though.

Most favor more gun control? If most equals 49%. Also, most probably don’t know what our current gun laws are. And I wonder if you asked them specifically about DC’s ban on self defense and possession of a functional firearm how that would have differed.

Now, feel free to yammer on about how the second amendment doesn’t give anything.

And the public doesn’t believe Hillsy or Barack Hubba Bubba Obama on guns: Conversely, Barack Obama receives a 42 percent to 30 percent negative rating as does Hillary Clinton with 40 percent to 30 percent;

    They should force these people to take Greg’s gun control questionaire. I bet you’d find that number drop like Bill Clinton’s pants in the oval office.

    Pollsters are way too close to Politicians – they are the Media-aactive arm of Public Relations on steroids and other substances, twisting results with a fine hallucinogenic spin and with similar believability.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
