A civil rights victory

Is this thing still on?

Seems like a pretty big deal to me that DC has been ordered to pay $5.1M to residents and non-residents who were arrested under their unconstitutional gun laws.

Given that this may have impacted 3,000 or so people, the number seems a bit low.

    Welcome back, friend!

Yep, it’s still on, and it’s good to see you around.

At first I was dismayed that so much of the award went to attorney fees. But maybe it will attract a few more attorneys to figuring for the right side?

And I still don’t see the part about criminal charges against the ones that passed the laws in the first place…

    Glad to have you back!

  5. Nolan Says:

300,000 to each of the 6 plaintiffs, and nearly 2 million to the lawyers… And 5 million is pretty much a drop in the bucket for the .gov. Better than nothing, but good to see you posting.

  6. Magus Says:

Yeah, you left it plugged in.

Why should they spend money on icky gun people when they have Ukraine and gender-queers to give it to?

Please post more, I miss my free ice-cream. 🙂

    Hope you’re doing well.

Glad you’re still alive! Been missing your content as my daily driver.
    Hope all is well!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
