Gun deaths

They keep using that term wrong on purpose.

  1. mikee Says:

The thoroughly debunked 1993 Kellerman paper that concluded a gun in the home meant a 43x chance of gun death for residents also listed other variables, such as renting an apartment, with correlation to gun death.

Renting an apartment was 6x more deadly than firearm possession in one’s home.

Keep that in mind when reading about firearm violence.

  2. Bill Buppert Says:

If death occurs by hanging, is that rope violence? If death occurs by vehicle, is that car violence. If death occurs by coproach, is that government violence [well, yeah]?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

  3. WallPhone Says:

If we point out that most of “gun deaths” are composed of old hetero white men in the landlocked states, will they leave us alone?

  4. mikee Says:

Will the right to commit suicide by gun become a rallying cry, like pro-abortion’s “My body, my choice!”?

Because if nothing else, protesting against gun control, on the basis of self-eradication rights, would make for a really amazing Supreme Court decision. And don’t start that argument about, “Well, you’d only need a single shot,” because I might need to try 29 times before getting it right.

  5. Dave Says:

Well, lying is kind of their thing. I’d be mad at them, but that’s as productive as being mad at a scorpion for stinging you. It’s what they do.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
