That’s not the narrative

That’s why that story went away so fast: Prosecutor: Antioch church shooters goal was to kill a minimum of 10 white churchgoers

So far on what’s being reporter by local media, the armed young man, parishioner/usher who retrieved his gun from his vehicle to stop the murderer and hold him for police hasn’t been mentioned. Maybe I missed it. In my area, multiple people are carrying guns as designated security in their churches. I’ve seen reporting in the past where Nashville local media specifically omitted an armed citizen stopping a potential multiple murder.

I did find this account re: the church shooting in Antioch in the “Daily Mail” a UK website. Seems our media left out the hero–unlike the Waffle House shooting:

“Hunter also said the calamity revealed a ‘true life hero’.

Churchgoer Robert Caleb Engle has testified that during the rampage, he twice confronted the gunman, who was wearing a tactical vest and a motorcycle-style mask with a clown smile on it.

Engle said he was pistol-whipped three times in the head.

At one point, he pushed the gun back on the shooter and a shot fired, striking the gunman and sending him to the ground.

Engle said his father kicked the gun away, stood on the shooter’s hand and told Engle to go get his gun out of his truck.

Engle came back with his weapon, put his foot on the shooter’s back and stood guard until first responders arrived.”

Hero Engle used his gun, so that was the wrong narrative!

A judge’s order had kept many details of the case secret until trial.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
