The new civility

Why are anti-gun activists so violent?

It’s a phrase I’ve used here a lot. And it typically applies to leftists in general and anti-gun loons specifically. Since Trump’s election, I have gotten quite a few chuckles watching the left and the media (but I repeat myself) melt down, sometimes in hysterical fashion. I’ve seen the creation of safe spaces and trigger warnings and micro aggressions. All of which are made up. If you can’t handle what’s happening around you, it’s not someone else’s fault. But I digress.

I supposes that after one emerges from all that SJWing and realizes it was for naught, stage 2 is violence. Remember when someone ran Sanders from a restaurant? Well, there’s a lot more than that now:

The left is ginning up violence. Listen to Maxine Waters.

Rand Paul has been attacked twice. Well, three times if you count the attempted mass shootings of Republican senators.

A 16 year old was attached for wearing a Trump hat.

More of these little fascists verbally berate Mitch McConnell.

And someone stalked the Kent State gun girl and threatened to assault her in a restaurant.

And you have reporters celebrating this stuff.

They really need to stop. Going down the road to violence is not going to end very well for anybody.

And the one that takes the cake is one Michael Sean Winters:

To my friends in the Republican political and legal establishment who have not stood up to Trump: When the revolution comes, you are on your own, and I will be clamoring not for mercy but for a seat next to the guillotine, where I can do my knitting.

I was not a Trump supporter. But if the left resorts to this sort of thing, it’s going to end in a way they won’t like. Of course, this little pansie probably thinks others are going to get the revolution on for him. Rest assured, he won’t lift a finger.

It really takes a VERY special kind of stupid to threaten someone who is likely armed….and then to stalk them?

Clearly this person suffers from a plethora of problems – developmental delay (she cannot write a coherent sentence), poor judgement, etc. Hopefully the person she was with is her 24-hour caregiver.

    Authoritarianism (wholesale coercion), if allowed to run its natural course, will always lead to mass destruction and mass death. It runs in progressive stages, roughly;

Corruption (of the body politic and of the culture)
Degradation and the celebration of deviancy
    Stagnation
Balkanization (formation of opposing, increasingly hostile factions)
    Decline
    Chaos
Blood orgy (mass violence combined with debauchery)

It’s the Roman system, in a nutshell. It has several other, well-established and oft-repeated features, but you get the point.

Our typical reaction is to attempt to use the authoritarian system to fix the damage done by the authoritarian system.

    This will not end well

The guillotine ended up being the last thing most of the leaders of the French Revolution saw. I guess Miss Winters slept that class too.

One fact the Left is ignoring is WE have the guns, they don’t.

Another thing they don’t seem to realize, if it gets to the point of no return, the President can invoke posse comitatus to use the Military to put down the insurrection.
Ex:Federal armed forces used in accordance to the Insurrection Act, as was the case of the 1st Marine Division and 7th Infantry Division being sent to curtail the 1992 Los Angeles riots.

Democrats need to put away the Red Shirts. It did not work after they lost the Civil War, it will not work now.

“To my friends in the Republican political and legal establishment who have not stood up to Trump: When the revolution comes, you are on your own…”

It seems clear to me that you either have NO friends on the right, or have no idea what friendship is. Possibly both are true.

If you long for a seat next to the guillotine, consider that you may be gravely mistaken about which side will be kneeling under it, and which will be dropping the blade.

For the sake of historical accuracy—the individual sitting next to the guillotine doing her knitting was in support of the people being beheaded and the knitting contained the names of those beheaded in a code. SO…this idiot just stated he would support us!!!!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
