They do? A shame they have such archaic gun laws

Texans love their firearms, more than any other state

Excellent use of the Oxford comma, although the post also would be true without it.

OK, now that I clicked on the link, that report is a mishmash of misunderstanding on the part of the journalist and pure BS on the part of the journalist.

    Registered guns? Huh?
ATF traces? Because crime guns from Mexico that are of US origin get traced by the ATF, and most Mexican straw buyers buy guns in Texas, of course most traces will return Texas guns. Sort of like why the most stolen car every year is a Honda Civic or Toyota Camry – they are the most sold cars on the roads.

Campus carry? What the heck does that have to do with anything relating to loving guns?

Isn’t it sort of weird that Texas has campus carry, but licensed open carry?

Texans talk tough. They brag about Texas and guns and succession. I’ve been all over Texas. You know what I saw? A bunch of fat people slavishly complying with the new world order, that’s what.

  5. Boyd Says:

It’s odd that not a single one of my guns here in Texas is “registered.”

I’m not familiar with the Texas Constitution, but here in Tennessee, the Legislators and Governors have been and are LAWLESS by NOT obeying THE WORDS of the State Constitution. Here in Tennessee, the State Constitution (Article I, Section 26) DECLARES that the citizens have a right to keep and bear arms for self defense. It adds ONE delegated power for the Legislature, that it “shall have power to regulate the WEARING of arms with a view to prevent crime”. So we have a RIGHT to keep and bear (CARRY) arms for self defense. The State only has power to regulate HOW WE CARRY, i.e., WEAR (holstered or with sling) what we carry and that limited to a view to prevent crime. We the People of the States must demand that those we EMPLOYEE obey their delegated powers or be removed!!!

Bear in mind this article is from the Houston Chronicle. Also referred to as The Comical, or as one radio guy called it: Houston’s Hometown Pravda.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
