Tennessee pro gun bills killed in committee

From The Tennessee Firearms Association:

Last week, Tennesseans heard “a great disturbance in the Force” as a small group of House legislators killed three specific bills – constitutional carry, permitless open carry, and improved civil immunity. All three bills were killed in the same House subcommittee – The House Civil Justice Subcommittee – on March 29.

Funny how all those republicans are pro-gun when running for office. But when it comes time to do pro-gun stuff, they change their tune.

“Civil Justice” = willful violation of civil rights.

I’ve always thought that TN Republicans are just the old DixieCrats with a rebrand. Stories like this pretty much prove it.

Hell, swing-state Florida is full of NYC transplants and does better on gun bills than this “deep” Republican state.

$10 says your governor sent word that he did not want those bills on his desk, no matter what he said in public.

And they’ll flip again come the next election.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that politicians lie like hell. I don’t think they know how to do anything else or know how to do anything productive either.

When you see something like this, where the benefits of supporting civil rights – gun rights – can be seen across many, many states already and the lies of the anti-rights bigots have been disproven again and again, you have to wonder:

What other legislation, regulations, programs, enforcement actions, taxes, grants and so on that are much more complicated and open to graft, corruption, influence peddling, & malfeasance than mere gun laws has the Legislature completely screwed up or sold out?

Well the GOP is hard at work for their voters, just look at their plans to give in state tuition bonuses to anchor baby’s brought here by illegal entry. Only thinking of us!

Failing to support Constitutional Carry is a direct violation of their oath of office. They take an oath to the State Constitution by which the citizens of the State have a DECLARED RIGHT to keep AND CARRY Weapons for self defense. (Article I, Section 26) It is UNLAWFUL to require a permit, license and payment to exercise a right!! It is precisely the same as the poll tax of 60 years ago!! All who refused to support this right and ALL DECLARED RIGHTS are UNFIT for office!!

  8. Huck Says:

“All who refused to support this right and ALL DECLARED RIGHTS are UNFIT for office!!”

Hell, ALL politicians are unfit for office.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
