Even White Lives Matter

Library officials have told Nashville’s chapter of the Black Lives Matter movement that meetings restricting those who attend by race aren’t allowed on public property.
The decision has outraged Black Lives Matter members. But Nashville Public Library officials said theyre following a library policy that specifies all meetings at their facilities must be open to the public and news media.
I’m sure they wanted separate but equal.

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his movement were all about racial integration and equal rights, a “color-blind society” as they put it. Now apparently the objective is to get back to segregation and different laws and standards for different races. In other words; the Progressives seem to be making headway in that department.

I have said many times in many places, the dumbest thing I have ever seen is racial groups that suffered under segregation in the past now asking to be segregated. I don’t understand how they can think it is a good thing. Maybe they think segregation on “their” terms is going to be better. I would refer them to the history of segregating populations along any lines and what normally happens to the minority segregated for a warning, but they won’t listen to me because of my skin color. They probably don’t like my libertarian leanings either.

It isn’t about Black Lives, it isn’t about anyone Mattering. It isn’t even about race, or equality, or legality, or constitutionality.
It is about raw power, and the ability to wield it to one’s own advantage. As usual. To Hell with them all. Again, as usual.
