Why I despise Trump

I like how he sticks it to the media. But, remember how he’s made billions using eminent domain. He thinks eminent domain is a wonderful thing.

Yup. One other thing- I find it amusing that the same folks who call the current pResident a narcissist support Trump in the same breath.

  2. Phelps Says:

Don’t sweat it. He’s anti-establishment, AND he’s running with an R after his name.

Before he got out of office, the SCOTUS will have overturned Kelo and probably made eminent domain virtually impossible, just to spite Trump.

  3. Phelps Says:

Trump isn’t a narcissist. A narcissist can’t handle being insulted (or even insufficiently praised.) That’s why you see Obama punching down to Limbaugh — even if it suits him better, he’s driven to revenge for any slight.

Trump’s retaliation seems to be more tactical. Someone with NPD wouldn’t have gone through DECADES of insults about his hair without trying another hair style at least once. That tells you that Trump can tell what real insults are and aren’t. NPD people can’t.

If you wanted to tag Trump with a personality disorder, he fits Histrionic a lot more than he does NPD. (The hair actually fits with HPD — they don’t care if you notice them for good or bad reasons, as long as you notice.)

Same with Hillary — she’s much more Paranoid PD than NPD.

  4. Lyle Says:

Trump is a Progressive, essentially, with a good measure of nationalism and cronyism thrown in.

Obama is mostly a global communist whereas Trump is more of a National Socialist. When things get tough, the National Socialist has the greater public appeal and will probably win, meaning we’re screwed. We’re even more screwed if said National Socialist is very clever, and Trump is clever.

Not the most articulate zillionaire is he? If he was, he’d have said what he has alluded to before, but should be doubling down on in questions like this.

He’s a zillionaire because he’s an effective businessman, not a sweet businessman, not a magnanimous business man…an effective businessman. He has used the laws and codes as written and upheld to do business and make money.

And while he didn’t express it very well, he’s right that most cases of eminent domain are essentially legal ransom, it’s about the money…always follow the money. But like all business including the business of development requiring certain parcels to profitably complete, it’s legal to hold out for more money, it’s the old law of supply and demand; the holdout has the supply that is in demand, and he can name his price to a degree. Past that degree, for better or worse the law provides to force a sale if it is shown to be necessary to complete a development that is also shown to be for the greater good.

Now that term “greater good” to me smacks a bit of socialism, so I’m not sure I’m a huge supporter of the whole premise, but the point is, Trump is…and maybe he’s right, and maybe the law and the court are right too. But the main point here is that Trump used the law to his benefit, legally, and profitably. At least we know we’d be getting a capitalist prez…did ya’ll catch the question to Komrade Sanders as to his belief in the system that made it possible for his commie ass to stand there and enumerate the evils of that system?

Trump for prez…because he can win, and that’s all he really wants; if he has the acumen (and we’ve detailed here that he does) to use the system and other players to his benefit, he’ll choose Cruz as his veep, who can then get to work doing the real work that needs to be done while The Donald keeps being the Donald, then taking his leave in ’20 with at least the glimmer of hope that the 2020’s can then be to my children’s generation what the 1980’s was to mine.

    Amen.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
