It won’t make the slightest difference in crime or safety, but it will certainly take a bite out of our business, which of course is the point. We like to make fun of the “stupidity” of such measures, but in fact the Progressives know exactly what they’re doing.

I wouldn’t panic yet, till the full text of the EO comes out. Banning reimportation of US milsurps by 3rd parties, which is what has been in the media on this EO, should not affect CMP. CMP get their stuff from the US gov’t, which is not supposedly affected by this. Of course, Obama is probably no fan of the CMP, so we will have to see.

I’d like to see the average gang banger get hit with the recoil from a full sized 30-06 round fired from an M1 Grand. I had a hard time getting used to it on the K.D range in basic.
