Does anybody like them? No. But at least they’re coming around on guns.

    What’s a metrocon?

Those are those little facey things woth the faces and the things, I think

Sounds like a sci-fi anime convention.

But I’m assuming it’s some type of conservative…kind of like a neocon.

i like the term metrocon, although i think it doesn’t cut to the key issue: income. So much of the press around Newtown has been colored by the class bias of rich reporters on Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc.

They just waited for the more courageous to establish a beachhead and blaze the trails for them. Now they feel safe saying the stuff we were saying ten and twenty years ago. It’s better than nothing, sort of.

Or maybe it’s worse than nothing– they’re still stuck on the “we just need to enforce existing gun laws” meme, thus embracing the notion that infringing on the second amendment (punishing the innocent, essentially) is a legitimate means of dealing with crime.

And don’t forget that anyone who works for someone else’s network is bound by someone else’s restrictions on what they can say. In any case; though they may help out inadvertently now and again, they are not our friends.

I think they were a G2 combiner Decepticon group what waged war against Defensor and the Protectibots.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
