No link, so I’m guessing it’s from one of those computer sort os things with no keyboard. Whadda you call them? Tee Vee or something like that? Won’t have one in the house. ‘Cause I’m elitist scum maybe, or just want to be able to talk back. Like this, for example.

I understand the mindset, but it’s not for me.
I just want to be a farmer, and be left alone. I don’t want to be a weapon. I’m not going to kill somebody unless I absolutely have to. If I ever have to, that doesn’t make me a weapon.
Leave the living weapon mythology for the real warriors and the pretend warriors.

These would be the same folks that sent untrained peasants at German positions in Stalingrad, arming only one in four to avoid wasting rifles?
You do not turn men into weapons. Men use weapons. We are not wild animals. We are the most dangerous tool users on the planet.

FrontSight has a more firearm focused philosophy:
“Any gun will do, if YOU will do.” (which really pisses off the purists)
Along with t-shirts that say:
“I am the weapon, my (pistol/rifle/shotgun) is just a tool.”

The point is that the statements are about mindset. It doesn’t matter much what sort of weapon you give a grass eater, if the mindset to use it isn’t there, along with some training on how to use it.

I understand what the point of the statements are. I disagree with them.
Mindset does not equal turning a human into a “weapon”.

Kristopher +. If your mind, and not your hormones, is in charge, you will be able to turn your warrior persona on or off at will. The Speznaz mindset, supposedly keeping them steely killers forever, is there to hide the fact that the Speznaz’ masters deem them still slaves of the Motherland, unable to exercise free will.
