Can we have a conversation about guns now?

This is code for ‘my side lost, let’s try again

When I was a kid, after badly losing a game of chess this was always the answer.

  2. Linoge Says:

I am so damned tired of that argument. They can have whatever conversations they want, whenever they want to have them.

The only hitch is that they have lost even the ones they have not had yet.

  3. Nylarthotep Says:

Damn, whenever I see that line all I can think of is that someone actually wants to talk about guns, not gun-control.

Of course, I’m always miffed about having to discuss gun-control, because talking about my AR-15 is much more enjoyable.

  4. HL Says:

Let me tell you about my SCAR…

  5. Bubblehead Les Says:

Sure we can have a “Conversation about Guns now.” 9mm or .45ACP is a good starting point.

  6. rickn8or Says:

Les, and when they get tired of that there’s always “7.62 NATO IS SO the same as .308 Winchester!”

  7. comatus Says:

Au contraire Bub. Sometime before the End of Days, the gun-control debate will end. But 9 v 45 is eternal.

  8. NotClauswitz Says:

They have that conversation with themselves all the time in the mirror saying, “You talking to me?” But actually being “tough” is different than the movies that inspire them, so they go back to the mirror and try again…

  9. Cargosquid Says:

I’ve been having SO much fun at Huffypuffypost. When the Huffys get their collective anti-rights butt handed to them by commenters on that liberal site, we are most definitely winning. And so, I thought I’d join in and make some heads implode.

What’s interesting is that’s really what they’re talking about, but don’t want to play.

Seriously, haven’t we all had that conversation where we’ve asked a AWB fan what about the adjustable stock or the bayonet lug on my rifle is so objectionable?

But they don’t know shit about guns or gun laws, and they aren’t interested in learned.

Really what this line means is “Will you gun nuts PLEASE just go away?”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
