Google relents on shopping and guns?

So reports the Firearm Blog. Then, not so much. Me, I still get the goose egg when I search gun stuff.

Works fine for me, but I never noticed a time when it didn’t. Not sure if I just had good timing, or if it’s only filtered for certain IP ranges.

I just did a few searches for some of my favorite heaters. Some are popping up, others are running dry, and the ones that hit are hitting lighter on results than I usually see.

Not sure about the technology, but maybe they’re re-building something so it may be coming back, but not 100% restored

They have already shown what they think about 2nd amendment rights. They are the enemy. I will never Google again.

Searching at Google Shopping for “.308 Winchester ammo” brought back plenty of results. Searching for “.223 ammo” brought back nothing. Likewise, “.45 ACP ammo” brought back nothing, but “.25 ACP ammo” got a good number of hits.

    Odd.

I have to wonder if this is not a server migration/upgrade related issue instead of an intentional taking down of certain items.

I just did a search for Federal HST, it worked OK.

    Bing.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
