Gun Buy Backs and “Art”

Artist makes zip guns and sells them to the police in gun buyback programs for $300. Heh.

Speaking of zip guns, Steve has some cool pics of artsy zip guns.

That’s bloody brilliant! What a way to fill the “Starving Artist’s Fund” coffers!

  2. Sigivald Says:

    That IS brilliant.

As long as it meets Federal minimum length requirements and there’s no more onerous State law, I think it’d even be perfectly legal.

(Probably; I certainly think that the Police don’t view that transfer as a “sale” entering commerce as such, and in any case it’s not crossing state lines…)

  3. Standard Mischief Says:

That photo. Is that a piece of tire tread, recycled as a recoil pad? Really? On a 2×4 stock?

  4. mikee Says:

Won’t the ATF be interested to know there is a firearm owner who is “selling” more than 6 units per year? Does that not make him an unlicensed dealer subject to prosecution?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
