At least the Secret Service didn’t kill anyone

Why sack the secret service and not ATF?

Because the Secret Service embarrassed the President in front of his friend and possible heightened threats to his Oneness.

F&F only hurt Mexicans and one LEO. Holder is there as a cut out. Only conservatives are concerned. what do they know….they’re not going to vote for him.

  2. Mike Says:

    Disagree, Cargosquid —

“Hookergate” is getting hammered because it’s an embarrassing episode that poses no threat to Obama’s re-election, and which paints him as a victim of the perfidy of his subordinates.

F&F is an international criminal venture, which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Mexicans and at least one American (that we know of), and which is a real threat to Obama’s re-election and possibly his freedom in a way similar to Watergate. (Remember, if Ford hadn’t pardoned Nixon, ol’ Tricky Dick would have gone to jail.) Had F&F been reported in the same way as Watergate, Obama’s only hope to stay out of federal prison would be extortion (“I know where all the skeletons are hidden”), or a Democrat successor issuing a pardon.

Remember this: all the way through to November, the American Press will focus on whatever “distraction” is least damaging or most helpful to Obama. American journalists, as a class, have invested themselves in this one politician, for ideological or quasi-religious reasons. He is their Messiah, and they will sink or swim along with him. Bank on it.

Because the SS scandal is a good distraction from the many, far more egregious offenses being committed by the Obama administration. Sacking Secret Service members is a way to show that “something is being done” while not having any real effect on anything.

  4. Ron W Says:

    Right, Lyle!

This is a distraction in which some can be publically disciplined and punished while the “treason” of “giving aid and comfort to their (the States’) enemies” of “fast and furious” (Article III, Section 3, U.S. Constitution) is kept obfuscated.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
