Smith and Wesson M&P Shield

A first look. Seems the leaks were true. It is a single stack 9mm. More here. It has a new trigger too.

    And when will they build a .45?

  2. ZerCool Says:

    And a single-stack .40.

  3. JD Rush Says:

    I asked at the local Sportsmans Warehouse. They may or may not get one next week locally. Other stores will have them for sure. Apparently there is a sku for the 40 version as well. If you believe everything the counter guys say. Should have asked for the number.

  4. John Richardson Says:

    I spoke with Jim Shepherd of the Outdoor Wires who has shot the Shield. In his tests, it was more accurate than the regular full size M&P.

    Hey, look, another clone of the Walther PPS that has been on the market for years!

    I guess they finally had to get around to making one of their own, since they make most of Walther’s stuff for them anywise.

    First came the bizzaro-world Taurus Judge, then they space-case one-up that with “The Governor,” then the Kimber Solo, now the M&P Shield – when’s the .410 version Captain America with the cape and mask coming out? 🙂

  7. Brad Says:

    I wonder how it compares to the Sig p938?

  8. Erin Palette Says:

    @Dirtcrashr: Captain America doesn’t wear a cape!

  9. DirtCrashr Says:

    Not even a scarf? 😉

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
