As well, IME, the Maxpedition “Fliegerduffel” is an outstanding long weekend bag. Makes an excellent gift.

I would recommend Molle’ing some utility pouches or a M249 pouches to it to allow easy access to sunglasses, airline tickets, or wallet, etc. Airlines will allow you to carry this on and it fits under the seat.

I have even lived out of it for a week at gun school training. I would recommend having a laundry facility in the hotel as changes of clothing must be kept to a minimum.

My brother ain’t an expert by any means, but he brings up a really good point. He’s of the opinion that a lot of wear with the single strap bags is that it will cause problems with your spine. I used to call BS on people that said wearing a gun on one side was enough to cause long term pain until I started doing some research. Same with this. I think it’s just something you may want to consider, that’s all.

I have several Maxpedition Murses. Beats stuffing crap into your pockets.

“Speaking of bags” – you take the blonde and I’ll take the one in the turban!!!

    Sorry, couldn’t resist.

I bought the Fliegerduffel last year when Tam mentioned it, and was not disappointed.

I’m anxiously awaiting the Sitka-S/Holster/Pouch Combo I just ordered.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
