OC stuff
Less than 5 minutes showed three people that folks neither cops nor criminals can carry a gun, legally, and be pleasant and polite – just may be changing a couple of young worldviews (and MAYBE an older one…) by not being gruff or standoffish.
Letter to open carriers: Please buy better holsters.

Yes…buy better holsters.
Leather one…that look great when you OC. Make a fashion statement along with being an OC advocate! I know just the place for just that holster!
(WARNING: Shameless plug!)

Sorry, Dragon, but I prefer Ted Blocker’s products.

@mita
I’m not buff as hell. But that doesn’t mean I don’t know how to help someone more determined understand how to get there.

Meh. I’ve OC’d daily for 3 years with my fobus paddle. Never an issue. draw is clean and crisp, retention is excellent, etc. Of course, when I first was looking for a decent holster they were the only paddle I could find that fit my Ruger P94. Safariland, blade tech, and Blackhawk didn’t make one.
Now I have to find a P94 bluegun for a fellow I work with to make me a leather one. He already made me a paddle mag carrier that I have worn daily for a year.
JM Holsters check him out.
Regards,
Pol

Agreed, you’ll change more hearts and minds this way than having a screaming match with law enforcement and posting videos on You Tube. Both are within your rights to do, one works, one – not so much.

Guy this week on a photo shoot. Open carrying, all day, two days. Civilian clothes. He was a policeman but you wouldn’t have known. No problems.
