If you CAN figure out what the “Occupy Wherever” groups are fighting for, Uncle, you are the Wizard of the Week. The answer is, or should be, that these groups are anti-everything. They are a collection of unhappy people, but without leaders, or stated purpose, they will be remembered for nothing else but leaving large trash cleanup costs in their wake.

Some in the media want to compare them to the TEA Parties, but that’s a laugh. The TEA Party people had an objective from the start, the election of a Conservative Congress, they had local leaders, and they were successful in galvanizing the conservative vote at the election, so they succeeded at their primary mission.

“Occupy Wherever” has no leaders, only attempted hijackers (the SEIU), they have no real objectives beyond presenting their complaint (but, present it to WHO?), and they’ve overstayed their welcome in the cities they’ve “occupied”. The White House supports them, but only because Valerie Jarrett is searching for You Tube videos of charismatic demonstrators to re-air for her boss’ election campaign. The SEIU hope, somehow, to corral that herd of dissident cats and put them to THEIR use.

Get the hook, they’ve had their fifteen minutes. Pay the overtime to clean up the places the “occupiers” trashed, and let’s get on with life, liberty and the protection of the Constitution. We’ve protected the Constitution by letting these confused mobs have their say, and the media have done THEIR duty by trying to report what they have to say, but to give these mobs any more credit than that would be historically and factually wrong.

It’s over, go home, there’s nothing to see here.

I too have been trying to understand the whole message of what the protests are about. I understand bits and pieces but not the whole thing.
