Found another article saying it’s up to 31 in 48 hours. They’ve really got a handle on things up there.

Mayor Bloomberg sidesteps responsibility for what is going on in his city, by whining and passing the buck to the feds. The man is worse than useless.
The unemployment rate for black men is up to 19% now, their highest rate in 27 years, at least, that is what we are told.
However, one has to wonder how many of them aren’t merely collecting unemployment, but are actually employed in the illegal drug trade, making huge amounts of money, buying guns and shooting each other at the record pace that matches their record “unemployment“.
The depression of the 1930‘s might as well be back, with suppliers of illegal substances settling their disputes under prohibition by shooting each other.
That fits in with the Obama administration running guns to criminals in both Mexico and the US, and with 31 people shot in 48 hours in NYC per the New York Post.
High official “unemployment” that translates to actual employment in the violent drug trade, an administration that encourages illegal gun sales to criminals, and lots of people getting shot.
People in New York City are being shot at the rate of over fifteen a day, in a city where guns are banned. It’s the fault of the gun lobby? No.

Greater Cleveland is only averaging 1 a day, but our population is only about the size of the Bronx. However, the MAIG Mayor Frank Jackson keeps whining because the Ohio State Legislature won’t Ban Guns, and he can’t because State Law trumps Cleveland’s. Of course, since 90% of those shootings comes from one particular Neighborhood, and Jackson won’t allow the Racist CPD to go after the Goblins in that particular area because they are of a Certain Minority Status (like Jackson), one can only come to the inevitable fact that it must be Bush’s Fault.

It’s up to 39 people shot over the Memorial Day weekend now, including shots fired near Bloomberg at a parade in Crooklyn.
“We’ve just got to do something about this, this just cannot go on,” Bloomberg said whined. What’s Mr. MAIG going to do, throw another hissy fit? He won’t get tough with his criminal constituents, instead he wants to abuse law-abiding gun owners, which accomplishes nothing. The man is a joke!

  8. Chas Says:

    Up to 42 now.

Meant to say Labor Day weekend.

Total number of shootings for the long weekend, between midnight Friday and midnight Monday, was 58 people shot.

Of course, that could not possibly have happened because of New York City’s strict gun control laws, and the over-the-top efforts of the enormously influential founder of MAIG, his honor, the mighty Mayor Michael Bloomberg. But it did. One weekend; 58 shootings. Bloomberg’s efforts now appear to be a cross between tragic and ridiculous. Despite his pompous, know-it-all, pretensions on the gun issue, he obviously understands nothing about reducing gun violence. He should call Fairfax for assistance, but he is far too arrogant to admit that his failed approach to the issue is completely wrong, or even that it has failed.
Once is coincidence, twice is enemy action and fifty eight is a mayor whose policies directly promote violence.

  11. Chas Says:

NBC now says it was 67 people shot between midnight Friday and midnight Monday.
MAIG didn’t work, 67 times. That’s fairly often for just one weekend in the city where the mayor is the founder of MAIG. Bloomberg wants to run the country, but he can’t even run his own backyard.
