Heh. Are there any reliable mags for the Hi-Point carbine with more than 10 rds?

  2. Dave Says:

I can’t say. I never bothered with them, because of their rep. I hear the aftermarket 15 rounders are hit or miss in function, and don’t play nice with the last round hold open in the new generation carbines. Second hand info so take it FWIW.

The company reps said that Promag makes a few aftermarket ones, but its a 50/50 or so shot if it will work or not.

Maybe some day they will get the idea just like Ruger and come out with an industry standard capacity magazine for their carbine.

  4. Dave Says:

FWIW, I heard that they finally were going to develop their own higher cap mag for their carbines. If I recall correctly it is going to be an extended single stack mag. If they make a higher cap mag compatible with their existing carbines it would have to be. The mag well hole in the frame is too narrow at the top to accept a double stack magazine. The frame and the trigger bar would have to be redesigned to allow a double stack magazine to fit. I figure that isn’t going to happen, at least not any time soon.

    What? No ACOG???

  6. El Bombardero Says:

I have one of these. Its been nothing but awesome (despite only having 10 rounds). I highly recommend them, especially for the price.

  7. Shawn Says:

It’s the same inside as any other Hi-point carbine just with a better stock and a couple rails.

Actually these have been out in the market a couple years.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
