Getting my social media on

I’ve not mentioned it in a while but for you folks who want to follow me on the Facebook, the page is here. And for you twitterers (which I don’t get), I am here.

Nothing new there, just the same stuff. But some people prefer facebook and twitter.

Since your Twitter feed is just links to your blog posts, which I read every day already, you won’t mind me un-following it, then?

I’m lost at the etiquette of this new social media stuff…

  2. SayUncle Says:

    I have followers?

I have to admit, I don’t get twitter. So I’m the wrong person to ask.

  3. Aaron Spuler Says:

Glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t get twitter.

Mind if I post my social media links here? You can delete them from the post if you wish…

It’s conversation 140 characters at a time. What’s there to get? Do you text? IM? Same thing only better.

Most of my Twitter is about sports or politics. I’ve had conversations with people that I never dreamed I could have before from Fred Thompson to Sarah Pain to Joe Theismann.

I talk to sports columnists and politicians on a weekly basis not because I am anyone of note (I’m not), but because they are accessible on Twitter.

That is what you should get about Twitter.

  5. John Farrier Says:

I don’t have a real use for Twitter, but I tweet once a day just so that I know how.

  6. Chas Says:

    What’s Facebook and Twitter?

  7. SPQR Says:

    What is this “text” ?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
