I believe Sebastian had a similar experience returning from the NRA convention in Phoenix.

If you convince them it was a completely honest mistake, your name gets put on a list but they don’t charge you. Now if it happens a second time….

if you read the law, it says you had to “knowingly” have the gun… if you “forgot” it was in the bag, that you cant have “knowingly” had it 😉

like the letter i got from the TSA 🙂

I have had to toss an unloaded mag that was in my sportcoat pocket that I had forgotten about (mercifully before I got to the security line).

I know a guy (a lawyer) who was detained for unwittngly trying to take his shotgun (he had been bird-hunting) on the plane.

And I know another lawyer who forgot about the “special” line at the courthouse for lawyers and went through security (at least until she was taken into custody) at the courthouse with a handgun in her purse.

These things happen if you routinely carry.

When I go to the airport, I check my luggage at the house and I check my clothing before I park the car.

Better bet is that the man has political connections out the kazoo and is wallowing in cash…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
