Hey, you don’t picture Mr. M in any way on your blog most days, and you aren’t in the Post either. I begin to see a pattern here….

  2. Reputo Says:

So if we change the caption to “Where’s Pope John Paul?” or “Where’s Buddha?” or “Where’s the Dalai Lama?” or “Where’s Martin Luther?” or “Where’s Joseph Smith?” or “Where’s Billy Graham?” or “Where’s Lao Tze?” or “Where’s David Koresh?” or “Where’s Elvis?” does the Post think the cartoon is as potentially inciteful?

No, in fact none of those would make any sense (except maybe the Elvis one) and there would be no humor/satire in the cartoon.

Link to the actual comic: http://www.gocomics.com/nonsequitur/2010/10/03/

Utter cowardice in the media today. Their “principles” are thin as the tissue in their corporate bathrooms.

  6. Brad Says:

…. editor Ned Martel said he decided to yank it, after conferring with others, including Executive Editor Marcus W. Brauchli, because “it seemed a deliberate provocation without a clear message.” He added that “the point of the joke was not immediately clear” ….

Ummm… dude? The name of the comic is NON SEQUITUR.

See, that is how you get respect. That is why you know that the antigunners in the press are not really afraid that gun owners will fight- they are not yet pulling cartoons of gun owners from the paper.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
