Word

Why is everyone picking on the Bush “tax cuts” rather than the Bush “spending increases”?

  1. Captain Holly Says:

Because the Democrats liked Bush’s spending so much they doubled it.

Kinda hard to call for a second porkulus bill when you are criticizing your predecessor for irresponsible spending.

  2. Spook45 Says:

Because people are stupid! The average American citizen has been dumbed down thru the education system to the point that not only do they not know thier rights and the Constitution, they also dont understand simple economics. To quote Sen. Connely(shot during the Kenedy Assassination) “If the American people had any idea what was really goin on in our country, there would be a REVOLUTION over night”! I think this says it all, makes everyhting else sort of just conspiracy and manipulation.

  3. SPQR Says:

Because the ruling class thinks that money belongs to them, and that whatever they don’t tax is their blessing to us.

  4. Ron W Says:

Captain Holly and Spook45 are right!

The false left-right paradigm either can’t or won’t admit that Obama is NO CHANGE, but is only doing MORE of the SAME from what we got under Bush; funeling more fiat money into our economy from the private banking cartel (Federal Reserve–which is neither).

“The Central Bank is an institution of the most
deadly hostility existing against the principles and form of our Constitution…if
the American people allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that
will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until
their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers
    conquered.” –Thomas Jefferson

“History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to MAINTAIN THEIR CONTROL OVER GOVERNMENTS by controlling money and its issuance.” –James Madison [my emphasis in CAPS]

  5. SPQR Says:

Nick Gillespie has a new post on Reason that shows the utter hypocrisy of the Democrats claiming that the evil Bush tax cuts caused the deficit and then claim that their answer is to retain 82% of the tax cuts going forward.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
