I love this country some times

A bit back, I linked to some photos of a man in a wheelchair taking a carbine class. Here’s video of the guy running a course.

    That’s Paul Gardner, a Marine wounded in Iraq. He goes by RetreatHell on M4Carbine.net where he shared his story in a post/thread titled Lessons Learned in Combat. It’s a pretty good read, so much so that I read it to every CCW class I instruct to drill into the the importance of seeking out good continuing training. You can read his story here:

    I shot my permit qual next to a gentleman in a wheel chair. He lent me his XD9 and I bought the ammo for his 1911. Pleased to say I outscored him, but not by much.
