If it’s SHOT time, it must be new Ruger time
The ‘buzz’ is that there’s a new Ruger in time for shot. Just like every year. My guess (and I am one for one) is 1911. The reason is that it’s been rumored for a while. And Mas Ayoob has said so. Twice.
Everyone is making an AR and everyone is making a 1911.

One would think that with all the different gun manufacturers making 1911s, that the price would come down to the point where even I could afford one.

Just from economies of scale and competition you’d think some common components like frames and barrels would drop in price. Maybe they have and I haven’t noticed.

B Woodman, the reason everyone is making a 1911 is that they can still charge good money for them.
Broken record alert: how about something in 6.5 G? Piston AR or MiniTwentySix, I don’t care.
