More Kel-Tec fun

All the cool kids have Kel-Tec P3ATs. And take pics of them. But the really cool kids put lasers on theirs. I like mine with the CrimsonTrace LaserGrip.

From Robb’s review:

The laser was absolutely SPOT ON when compared to what passes for iron sights on the P3AT. No adjustments necessary. The fit was tight, and once screwed down, didn’t move a millimeter. The weight difference was unnoticeable and the switch unobtrusive. The laser dot was bright and absolutely perfect for this weapon. I highly recommend that even if you’re not a laser type person but you own a small, pocket pistol like the P3AT, that you look into getting a Crimson Trace that fits for you.

I concur.

I really dig CrimsonTrace.

Never have I been so glad to be uncool. :p

As soon as I get a little mad money aside, I’m ordering one of those CT lasers. No question about it.

One question for you, though: Do I have to get a special holster for it, or will my existing DeSantis Nemesis still fit?

Dunno. It may or may not.

I may have said this on here before, but the P3AT CT grips are the best of the three pair I own.

    Best $169 I ever spent.

I always thought the Armalasers were better. They cost less, and they don’t disturb they already minimal grip of a P3AT, and they turn on when you stick your finger in the trigger guard. They also present less of a “Gun” profile in your pocket.

$209 though? That’s about as much as the gun itself was. lol

Where can I get one of those slip on grips, by the way?

  7. SayUncle Says:

It’s the smallest hogue grip. And you still have to take a razor and cut off about 1/4 an inch.

I got the 1 round magazine extension to cope with the small grip and after having the gun for a year I finally realized that with the small round count of the gun every shot should count and I often have fliers when shooting the gun, so I went and got the CT laser.

I carry mine with the optional clip and so the laser is not in a holster during carry. I have not had any noticable change in accuacy after months of carry (meaning the day to day carry with the laser exposed has not changed the point of impact after months of carry). I am also a better shot with the laser than without (probably due to the sights).

When, oh when, will they have one for the Bersa Thunder .380?

Maybe Breda can ask them at the convention….

Got a Seecamp .32 and have the pocket slipper laser aimer coming in for it. Not looking back, either… now all I really need is some leeway for going C&R on some really nice items I’ve seen, but lack of cash forbids.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
