Pssst, look more south

PJTV parrots the Mexican Gun Canard? Anyway, the big issue is the press reporting that machine guns and bazookas are coming from US gun shows. We know that’s not the case since those are banned here. Even ATF says the weapons are coming from Mexico’s southern border.

This seems to be the norm of most of the discussions on Mexican Guns. I’ve not kept up with all of them, but I’m still baffled that these guys can’t think beyond the DHS and ATFE quotes.

The unknowns are still more substantial than the knowns.
What percentage of weapons taken by the Mexican police/military are semi-auto? Thought there is to figure out how many could have come from the civilian arms in the US.
What types are being found overall? I’m still thinking that a lot of crime hand guns are conveniently making their way south of the border for good money. And no doubts that military grade firearms (fully automatic) are not from the US gun trade. (Not to mention the grenades and RPG)

I also don’t understand why they continue to think that the guns given to the BATFE were culled from the total number taken to make a political statement. The Pajama’s Media guy seems to take the BATFE source as gospel that the Mexican government aren’t politically savy. Pretty sad to give such foolishness voice.

Overall I think the Gun Bloggers have a much better logic as to sources compared to the anti-gunners. The problem still comes down to us not having sufficient information to make educated judgments.

Sadly this whole mess continues to push the “evil black gun” prohibition law discussion forward. Fools like this don’t even address the issue that even if these guns came from the US, they sales were still illegal. How exactly does he expect new laws to address this? By making it more illegal?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
