   am i missing something for not getting the sound track? because that red baseball cap seems to just magically appear somehow at the fifth second or so. and what’s hitting the ground about halfway between him and the target, for that matter? WTF’s going on in this video?

   Nomen, you’re not missing anything with the soundtrack except a lot of swearing.

   I’m not exactly certain, but it looks from the slo-mo part that the bullet ricocheted from the target, hit the ground about halfway back, and took his hat off and clipped his scalp. The flash of red was his ballcap.

   Anybody know for sure if that’s right?

   The slo-mo doesn’t look like the hat comes out of nowhere, it’s brown in back, orange in front, looks like it peels back off his head.

   Yeah, at about .21 you see the back of the cap is the same color as his hair.

   At least the hair that’s not being bled on.

   Yes … the person eating the ricochet is a friend of George Hill ( madogre.com ).

   The video was lifted from his website.

    I believe the 1st one is faked. This video came online a year or more ago, under a different YouTube account and they had more than one video from that range with incredibly rare ricochets. I can’t find the others, so you’ll just have to trust my memory on that one.

    The 2nd though, yeah, that’s from George Hill. It’s real.
