“Overall Freedom Ranking” – not surprisingly, my Evil Empire State comes in at #50. And the Democrats just took over the State Senate from the Republicans too, so now they have both houses of the legislature and the governor’s office as well. This state is as bad as it gets and about to get worse.
Coming from a decade in Maryland (#46), having been here in Texas (#%) since 2000, I still thank God every day that He gave me the ability to move. I regret having lost that decade, however.

Highly suspect… given that The People’s Republic of Illinois is 18 and Florida is 25.
Not that Florida is perfect… but Illinois is certainly not.

Wow. In Personal Freedom, Georgia is WAY down there in the 40s =/
Funny, I don’t feel oppressed by my state.

Tied for #1. NH.
Well, at least until the Democrats controlling the state government finish their destruction.

Don’t know how the Great Lakes State scored so well in Regulatory area, and at #15 in the Overall Freedom Score.
