Muzzle control and knowing when to let off of the trigger

Or why you don’t let someone who’s unfamiliar with firing a machine gun do so without some guidance.

Good grief. Didn’t an 8 year old boy die recently from just such an event?

One round, dammit! One round. Then two. Don’t ever hand a noob a machinegun with a full magazine. Heck, I’m a noob with MGs, never fired one. You can bet that the first time I touch one, there won’t be more than 3 rounds in the magazine. For a machine pistol, like an UZI without a shoulder stock, one round at first to see how the recoil is, and work up from there.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
