The papers here originally reported his actions as donating $100k to buy guns.
Oh no, I thought, another Hollywood liberal getting involved in another failed attempt at a gun buyback program.
Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I read the whole article.
Kudos to Mr. Spade for putting his money up to help protect us all.

I think a better use for money to help protect us all would be to send it to the CMP.

any word on whether Mr. Spade believes that civilians should be allowed to own the same rifles?

Has anyone else done the math here? At $2,000 per rifle, I’m hoping they come with some awesome optics, and an ASSLOAD of training.
Otherwise, I’d have to say I mostly approve. Phoenix is a violent place.
