Del-Ton getting in the AR game

I’ve used Del-Ton parts for years. Now, they are selling complete rifles. Reasonably priced, too.

And they are to be commended for not jacking their prices post-election…but they are taking 8-16 weeks to deliver orders, alas.

I’m sure they’re overwhelmed. I ordered my upper and lower parts kit from them in the beginning of November. My order status has been “processing” ever since. No idea when I’ll get it.

They’re prices have gone up a little since I ordered, but not ridiculously so. Kudos to them for that.

As soon as I can afford it, I’m going to buy another upper from them to build up my remaining stripped lower.

If you check Del-Ton’s “Industry” page on arfcom, you can get a good idea what order numbers are shipping.. my own orders from November are probably gonna make it for ground-hog’s day..:-)
Of course, if you ordered something made of unobtanium (like a chrome BCG), you might wait a bit longer.

I ordered my parts kit from Del-Ton 11/5, and it was delivered 12/5. 16″ carbine with mid-length gas system, chrome-lined bbl, M4 feed ramps, everything else stock.

Hey, thanks for the tip. I ordered on 11/8 and they appear to be shipping that day’s orders now. The last comment that reported a shipped order was for order number 22488 shipped last night or this morning. Mine is number 22533 so I should hear something in the next few days or early next week…assuming nothing is backordered.

I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to check Arfcom for updates. Good call.

Hey, hold on here – save a few for those of us with none at all!

Of course, this us was too stupid to react to the writing on the wall two months ago, and is now paying for it…

AIM was selling the Del-Tons for $670 before the recent buying madness drove up prices.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
