Barack Obama is running from his campaign platforms faster than he ran from his anti-gun past during the campaign. The latest is that he now opposes windfall profit tax. Roughly translated, this means: I just said that during the election to get stupid people to vote for me.

Or, the price of oil dropped $100 dollars since he initially proposed the windfall profits tax, which means it won’t be on the agenda any time soon, so its not on Changey.gov

sheeesh…can people not wait until he actually, you know, takes office before claiming that he lied about everything. And what Sean said..you can’t exactly have a windfall profits tax if there aren’t any, umm, windfall profits.

Well, the office is setup by legal statute to facilitate the transfer of power from one administration to the other. So once Obama takes power, a group of administrators will begin planning for the next transfer of power.
