Too much stuff
Police say the contents in an oversized purse saved a 22-year-old Middle Tennessee State University student’s life, stopping a bullet during an attempted robbery.
Either way, I’m sure she’s thankful.

Report says it was a .38 of some sort. Not sure if its a .38 special, or a .380 Auto…or somthing old and odd. While neither .38 are monster penatrators, they aren’t exactly .25 ACP.
She must have had a lot of suff, some of which was fairly dense (like the laptop)

A woman’s purse is like a black hole; matter enters it never to be seen again! That’s probably what happened to the bullet. 🙂

If they say “.38” it’s probably .38 S&W or .38 Special. I doubt they’d know enough to call a 380 a “.38” since colossal ignorance is a news reporter’s primary characteristic.
“Edmiston is charged with attempted murder, attempted armed robbery and possession of a weapon on school property.”
Yeah, the attempted murder and attempted robbery charges are one thing, but you hang that “possession of a gun on school property” charge out there and you finally have a real deterrent against crime.
