As a nutty, paranoid people

KAG:

The story also notes that some nutty, paranoid people people are stocking up on guns because they believe that if Obama wins, he will ban gun ownership.

Yeah, I mean what could possibly give them that idea?

  1. Joe Huffman Says:

    See also his website:

Address Gun Violence in Cities: As president, Barack Obama would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals who shouldn’t have them. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets.

He may not talk about it much but he doesn’t hide it very well either.

  2. Robb Allen Says:

Why should he hide it Joe? The media will lie for him, giving him his cake and allowing him to eat it as well.

  3. Bobby Says:

Well it wont be too long with this for the streets to become a battlefield…

If you think about this- “…while keeping guns away from children…” it is reverse-indoctrination.
Make it illegal to teach your child to shoot, and who knows if he or she will grow up to do it.
No need for bans- simply change the way your children think, and make it illegal to do anything about it.

  4. LissaKay Says:

For all the above mentioned reasons, I too am learning to handle and shoot guns. Me, a former screaming mimi hoplaphobe! I am also encouraging my kids to learn how to defend themselves (which reminds me, I should share photos of my 18 year old daughter shooting a 9mm and a shotgun … or maybe not, she’s pretty darn hot …)

A vote for obama is a vote for Al Queda. With Al Queda in the White House, wouldn’t you want to be armed?

  6. Smacklug Says:

What the fuck, are you fucking retarded
This is the type of shit that makes otherwise rational people hate guns.

    Al Queda? Seriously?

  7. Kevin Baker Says:

All I know for sure is that my favorite gun store in Tucson almost always has a full parking lot, and pretty much every time I go in, someone is filling out a 4473 for something.

I’m buying an M14, in part because I’m afraid I won’t have the option much longer.

  8. emdfl Says:

Yeah, smack we’re all crazy especially after reading who his $$^&^%friends are.

  9. Lyle Says:

Wasn’t it Hamas that was actively campaigning for BO, from Gaza, or was that Hezbollah in Lebanon? Forgive me; it’s hard to keep track of all the terrorist scum who support Obama and all the terrorist scum he seems to hang around. Or was that all a grand hoax and I just haven’t got ’round to seeing the official retractions yet?

Anyway, I can tell you we’ve gotten a lot of people calling to accessorize their “election guns”. Knowing BO’s position against gun rights (in spite of his ridiculous lies to the contrary) they want to get a nice gun or two before it becomes impossible to do it legally (as doing it illegally would be slightly more work). Is that so damned hard to understand? That’s exactly what I did during the Clinton years. I’ve heard from any gun dealer I’ve spoken to about this also; Bubba Clinton was the best salesman the gun industry ever had. I think he was actually voted salesman of the year several times. It appears we may now be seeing a resurgence of those years.

Maybe the gun dealers should get all selfish and start campaigning for BO.

And; do I have to remind everyone? It’s not paranoia if they really are out to get you.

  10. persimmon Says:

Wouldn’t banning gun ownership require a Constitutional amendment ratified by 2/3 of the states?

  11. SayUncle Says:

You’d think. Instead, cities just seem to do it. That’s changing in a post-Heller world, though.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
