Alright, McCain, Listen Up

The only two saving graces for your campaign as far as I’m concerned is that of supreme court judges and that you’re not Barack So a pirate walks into bar Obama. But there was this third thing I was holding out for. It was that your Vice Presidential choice would not suck. Let’s face it, you’re kinda old.

The rumors are that you’re looking at Mitt Romney as your Veep pick. Now, I don’t like Romney. At all. The guy is even more of a Democrat than you are. So, why do you insist on making the already daunting task of getting hammered, holding my nose and voting for you even more miserable?

If you do pick Romney and are elected, I hope we make some major strides in life extending technology.

The only reason he would pick Romney is for his economic cred. While I tend to agree with you, that may make it easier for McCain to win.

I don’t think Romney’s going to be on the ticket. I don’t see what it would get McCain, and it would lose him a lot.

  3. Sebastian Says:

If he does pick Romney, that means McCain is worried about money. Romney is a man without a soul, because he sold it to the devil years ago for that hair. But… Romney brings a lot of money to the table, like you would expect from a minion of Satan.

But I agree, it’s not a great choice from any other point of view. Conservatives have no real love for him, and I don’t see him doing much to bring in independents.

  4. emdfl Says:

Well, he(Romney) did sign off on that wonderful health plan in MA. That’ll bring a lot of the conservative base back, yeah, right.

  5. Les Jones Says:

I figured he would pick wazzhername, the Alaskan governor. Executive experience + no penis = teh WIN!

  6. memomachine Says:

    Hmmmm.

It would be nice if McCain would stop annoying the heck out of this conservative.

But that isn’t going to happen. McCain evidently thinks he can make a coalition out of disaffected Clintonites and liberal Republicans.

Good luck with that Senator McCain. Let me know how you like Obama’s inauguration speech.

If McCain wins I predict Aubrey de Gray will see some major government funding.

    (I’m kidding)

  8. RAH Says:

Sorry folks I disagree, McCain was not my choice, My choice was Romney. He went before the NRA and he tried to minimize guns reg in MA. But when is State House is entirely lopsided with Democrats it is hard and he was inventive to slow down the MA Supreme CT Gay marriage approval.

He is no gun enthusiast, but he will listen. I am sure that if it is his choice and that the so call gun show loophole was explained and why it is good to have private transactions he would be onboard. He is no enemy. Lets not make him one.

What about a Ron Paul VP slot? Ron Paul has Obama-like fundraising prowess and fairly rabid conservative/libertarian followers.

I can’t even count the number of federalist society people I have run into that gave money to Ron Paul after a lifetime of never giving money to anyone.

Because, mi amigo, his main purpose in life is to piss you off. Like that twirling, twinkling thing on Star Trek, he feeds on your disappointment and rage.

    Which thing do you mean?

  12. Hemp Necktie Says:

    RAH,

Let me tell you a story about the “gun show loophole.”

I live in Oregon. A few years back we got the “honor” of voting to close said loophole. It passed, overwhelmingly. It was sponsored by the Democrat speaker of our state house. One Genny Burdick. She brought in help from outside. A man named John McCain. He was all for it. A “Republican” helping a Democrat take away my rights. Bipartisanship in action.

The bastard will *NEVER* get my vote.

  13. TheGunGeek Says:

What will Romney bring to the ticket? Besides money? Besides a youthful appearance and an image of being good with finances?

How about all the electoral votes from Michigan and Massachusetts?

Odds are that he can bring both those states over into the red column.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
