Testing my Google Juice

Bradies try their google-fu

Thanks to a tip from WizardPC, as of this writing, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Ownership has the number one spot on Google for Carry Permit Holders. So, we’ll fix that: Carry Permit Holders

Last time it took 20 minutes. It’s now 9:15a.m.

You almost id it right,m but you achor texted your ahref to the same URL twice in the span of 15 words. That’s a Google algo red flag, and you wont get any credit for either link. Kill one of those links quick. Alos, you need to put the same link on your homepage. That’s where your most powerful GJ resides.

Great work. They’re getting hammered down the list quite nicely. I knew you could pull it off.

One thing that’s odd, though, is that google says no pages link to that Brady article. I wonder how they became the top result? Is it possible that the tinyurl is being translated by google, therefore giving them hits when we thought we avoided it?

Could be… Google-bots might see through those like SiteMeter sees through (most) proxies. Also, since that page is probably still on the front page of the main Brady page, that probably helps its rankings.
