great googly FSM but i wish i could join that club. i’d be bankrupt in very short order if i tried, though.

(think i’d save the AR platform for last, though. i’m more of an AK sort of person, it seems; Stoner’s designs just don’t much appeal to me for some reason.)

Heh… I was a gun-a-day member (almost) for the first week and a half of the year… Including a $140 Yugo mauser and $130 Finn m39–the most beautiful mosin nagant I’ve ever seen, too. Well, maybe second to my US-made m1891. But I think I’m already in the gun-a-month for the year (at least if you were to count the AR uppers I bought as guns and the CMP M1 that I’m going to buy when they become available)

Taking up NRA High Power is definitely going to put a crimp on ye ol’ gun buying. Man that stuff is expensive. For the cost of a shooting jacket I could have a couple of old bolt-actions. Or, if I shopped around, a decent AK.

Sadly, I can only afford one per quarter, but I’ve been making them good’uns.

Couple months ago I picked up the (not on the “to be banned” list yet) FN PS90. Lots of fun to shoot, and a great conversation piece.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
