The Mrs. has complained, in the past, that Politically Incorrect Dog (my dog) gets all the air-time. With that, here’s a pic of Politically Correct Dog (the wife’s dog) doing what he does (well, other than eating. He’s getting a little pudgy):

Now, if your dog learns to do that (protect BG) you’ll be able to send the kid to the store with her dogs as soon as she can walk!!!

I apologise in advance for being a wet blanket, but isn’t there some danger here? Not from bites, but from the dog applying his/her weight onto your child? As a cat owner, I’ve long known that you don’t let cats near infants. Cats want to climb onto or across the baby’s chest. The baby isn’t strong enough to breathe against the weight and tragedy can ensue. Isn;t there a similar danger here?
That said, yeah, the dog/baby pics are cute. All you need is a gun now….

Not really with PCD, he’s too lazy to exert that much effort. But point taken. All kidding aside, i was right there supervising and i can read his actions pretty well. She was in no danger.
